While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hamas: Targeting civilians is a systematic, daily practice of the Israeli army in Gaza

Saturday 21-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has accused the Israeli occupation army of committing new massacres on Friday, killing over 40 civilians during the day in attacks on homes, tents and aid seekers.

“The Israeli occupation targets only defenseless civilians and deliberately persists in killing dozens of them every day,” 'Hamas said in a statement on Friday.

“Targeting children, women, and innocent civilians has become a systematic, daily practice of the occupation army and a defining hallmark of its criminal war against our people,” Hamas added.

'Hamas called on international legal and human rights organizations to work on documenting Israel’s war crimes and prosecuting Israeli leaders as war criminals.

The Movement urged the Arab and Muslim nations and the world’s free people to increase their support for the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and their struggle for freedom, dignity and self-determination and to exert more pressure on the Israeli occupation and its supporters.

UNRWA: The plight of Palestinian refugees remains the world’s longest unresolved crisis

Saturday 21-June-2025

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)

UNRWA said on Friday that the plight of Palestinian refugees remains “the world’s longest-standing unresolved refugee crisis,” calling on the international community to find a “just and lasting solution” to their question.

This came in a tweet published by the UN organization on its X platform page on the World Refugee Day, which falls on June 20 of each year.

“It is time to end this cycle. Displacement and war have affected the lives of generations of Palestinian families.”

UNRWA called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and contribute to “finding a just and durable solution to the plight of Palestine refugees.”

The UN agency also said that “in 1948 (during the Nakba), more than 700,000 Palestinians were displaced from their towns and villages.”

“After 77 years, Palestinians are still being subjected to forced displacement,” it added.

UNRWA records, as of August 2023, indicate that the number of registered Palestinian refugees is approximately 5.9 million, of whom approximately 2.5 million reside in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, representing approximately 42 percent of the total number of registered refugees (15 percent in the West Bank and 27 percent in Gaza), according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.

UN: Israel continues to deprive Gaza of fuel needs

Saturday 21-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The UN has affirmed that Israeli occupation army continues to block fuel shipments from entering Gaza for the 16th consecutive week.

In a news conference on Friday, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said that “no fuel has entered the Strip for 16 weeks now,” warning of the catastrophic impacts such an Israeli measure have on the lives of Gaza’s residents.

“As I told you, we did manage to retrieve fuel from the At Tahreer station in Rafah on Wednesday, and a limited amount of that fuel was delivered yesterday to public utilities in southern Gaza. That allowed the continued operation of desalination plants, water trucking services and sewage pumping stations. However, fuel instability and fuel shortages continue to limit operations, resulting in reduced operating hours and capacity,” the spokesman added.

Euro-Med: Gaza trapped in horrific cycle of death by Israel’s genocidal machine

Saturday 21-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Lima Bastami, director of the legal department at the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, has stated that life in the Gaza Strip has been reduced to a terrifying and inescapable cycle of death. It begins with the deliberate bombing of civilian gatherings, where the wounded bleed to death, patients face their fate alone amid the collapse of the health system, and the missing remain trapped beneath the rubble.

In a statement released on Friday, Bastami explained that survivors are forced into tents devoid of the most basic means of survival, only to then find the siege tightening further through systematic starvation. Those who attempt to reach aid distribution points are met with bullets and shellfire.

She added that this horrific and calculated sequence—combining starvation, systematic deprivation of survival necessities, and direct killing from every angle—demonstrates Israel’s intent to destroy Gaza’s civilian population, either partially or completely. This, she stressed, fulfills the legal definition of the crime of genocide.

Bastami warned that the continuation of Israel’s genocidal campaign, amidst the international community’s paralysis, effectively closes the circle of justice for the entire world—just as the circle of death has closed in on Gaza’s population.

She emphasized that all states must act immediately to halt the ongoing crime in Gaza, hold the perpetrators accountable, and salvage what remains of the legitimacy of the international legal system.

Bastami called on the international community to impose sanctions on Israel for its systematic and grave violations of international law. These should include a total ban on weapons exports to Israel and the immediate suspension of all forms of political, financial, military, intelligence, and security support provided to it.

In its official statement, the Euro-Med Monitor noted that Israel has escalated its mass killing in the Gaza Strip amid a complete absence of accountability and a noticeable decline in global media coverage. It warned of an intensifying genocidal campaign against Gaza’s civilians, particularly through the increased use of mass-killing tactics.

The organization added that this escalation is occurring in the complete absence of international deterrence or consequences and at a time when global attention is distracted by Israel’s ongoing military confrontation with Iran.

It continued, “In the past four days alone, we have documented the killing of over 350 Palestinians and the injury of hundreds more, with the number of missing persons continuing to rise due to the scale of Israeli attacks.”

The Monitor also reported that more than 70 Palestinians were killed between dawn and the afternoon hours of Friday alone—nearly half of them while they were either waiting for or attempting to access food aid. This, it stressed, is yet further proof of Israel’s deliberate use of starvation as a weapon of genocide.

Settler groups burn copies of Quran in Nablus mosque

Saturday 21-June-2025

NABLUS, (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed on Friday evening the “Bayt Al-Shaikh” Mosque in the Khirbet Tana area, part of the town of Bait Foureek east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

The settlers set fire to copies of the Holy Quran inside the mosque, a new crime in a series of repeated attacks targeting the mosque and surrounding area under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, according to local sources.

The Bayt Al-Shaikh Mosque is one of the oldest landmarks in Khirbet Tana. According to local elders, it dates back several hundred years and was built from stone and mud. Residents have used it for daily prayers for many decades.

This crime is part of a series of ongoing attacks on the hamlet and its mosque by settlers, in what is seen as an Israeli plan to forcibly displace residents and take over the strategic location of Khirbet Tana, situated on the western slopes of the Jordan Valley.

Tha-ir 'Hannani, coordinator of the Campaign to Defend Tana, stated in press comments last March that the mosque is “a symbol of the residents’ resilience and their steadfastness on their land.” He noted that the mosque had been restored to serve as a spiritual and educational center, even functioning as a makeshift school for children after the occupation destroyed their only school and cut off electricity and infrastructure services.

'Hannani added, “The repeated attacks, including burning tents and caves and threatening residents with death, reflect a systematic policy to empty the hamlet of its original inhabitants.” However, he stressed that “the people of Tana continue to refuse to leave their land despite all displacement attempts.”

The campaign to eliminate Palestinian presence in the hamlet is led by a settler named “Kobi,” a hardline figure involved in “pastoral settlement” in the West Bank. He has established an outpost on hundreds of dunums of Bait Foureek’s land and has reportedly not left a single tent or cave untouched by threats.

Kobi is also responsible for destroying beehives and solar panels with the protection of Israeli occupation forces, who routinely bring in military bulldozers to demolish, level, and terrorize the Palestinian population.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation has demolished most structures in Khirbet Tana, including homes and tents, over the past 15 years as part of a continuous campaign aimed at enabling settlers to take full control of the area, amid international silence and the absence of any real deterrent.

Israeli colonists attack Deir Jarir village under Army protection

RAMALLAH, June 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli colonists, backed by Israeli occupation forces, attacked the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, according to local sources.

The sources informed WAFA that a group of colonists stormed the Wadi al-Hamadhna area on the outskirts of the village. Local residents confronted the attackers in an effort to repel the assault.

During the assault, Israeli forces fired live ammunition and stun grenades at local Palestinian residents. No injuries were reported.

Deir Jarir has been subjected to ongoing assaults by Israeli colonists and occupation forces, with a noticeable escalation in recent months. These attacks are part of a broader pattern affecting numerous towns and villages across the occupied West Bank.

The PLO's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 1,691 attacks by Israeli forces and colonists during the month of May alone. In its monthly report, titled “Violations of the Occupation and Colonial Expansion Measures,” the Commission stated that 1,276 of these assaults were carried out by Israeli forces, while 415 were committed by colonists.

The highest number of attacks were recorded in the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh (283), Hebron (271), and Nablus (265).

General secondary exam kicks off in WB as Gaza students are deprived for the 2nd year

Saturday 21-June-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

On Saturday morning, the General Secondary Education Examination (Tawjihi) began in the occupied West Bank, while students in the Gaza Strip were denied the opportunity to take it for the second consecutive year.

Around 46,000 students in the West Bank and about 2,000 students from Gaza who are currently outside of Palestine headed to exam halls.

For the second year in a row, students inside Gaza are barred from taking the exams due to the ongoing genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation forces since October 7, 2023.

The students are distributed across academic tracks as follows: 28,000 in the literary stream, 14,000 in the scientific stream, and the rest in other branches.

This year, exams are being held in 512 exam halls, supervised by 16,000 teachers, school principals, and administrators, who are responsible for proctoring, managing the halls, and grading, in what is considered one of the most challenging years due to the conditions imposed by the occupation.

Two thousand Gaza students will take the exam this year, having managed to leave the Strip. These students are spread across 37 countries, seven of which have coordinated with official bodies to open official exam halls, enabling the Ministry of Education to administer the exams. In the remaining countries, exams will be held in Palestinian embassies and representative offices.

In occupied Jerusalem, the Ministry of Education announced the postponement of the exam’s start date to next Monday for around 3,600 students taking the exams in halls located inside the city (within the separation wall). However, exams in halls outside Jerusalem (beyond the wall) will proceed according to the pre-announced schedule and began this morning.

Students in the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarem are facing particularly harsh and exceptional conditions due to the ongoing assault since January.

The Ministry ensured that exam halls were located as far as possible from frequently targeted areas.

About 3,500 students in Tulkarem are sitting for the exam in 34 halls across various academic tracks. They were placed in halls near their residences to accommodate field conditions and ensure compliance with regulations and the safety of all parties, including proctors and hall supervisors.

Regarding students from Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps who were forcibly displaced due to the aggression, they were integrated into schools in the city and surrounding towns during the school year. The local Directorate of Education has been monitoring their educational and psychological well-being, offering the necessary support to ease their integration and ensure good academic performance in a psychologically safe environment, away from the atmosphere of aggression.

In Jenin, about 3,034 students are taking the General Secondary Examination across 30 halls, including 43 students from the Jenin refugee camp who were forced to flee with their families due to the Israeli aggression.

According to the Ministry of Education, since the beginning of the Israeli assault on Gaza and the West Bank on October 7, 2023, 16,607 students have been martyred and 26,271 injured.

In Gaza alone, over 16,470 students have been killed and 25,374 injured since the beginning of the assault.

In the West Bank, 137 students were martyred, 897 were injured, and 754 were arrested.

Additionally, 914 teachers and administrative staff were killed, 4,363 were injured in both Gaza and the West Bank, and more than 196 were arrested in the West Bank.

UNRWA reaffirms commitment to serving refugees until just solution is found

Saturday 21-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has renewed its commitment to continue providing services to Palestinian refugees until a just and lasting solution is achieved.

In a post on its official account on X (formerly Twitter) to mark World Refugee Day, observed annually on June 20 by the United Nations General Assembly to raise awareness of refugee and displacement issues globally, UNRWA emphasized the harsh conditions faced by refugees, particularly in Gaza and the West Bank, where they have endured forced displacement for 77 years.

UNRWA recalled that in 1948, during the Nakba (Catastrophe), more than 700,000 Palestinians were displaced from their towns and villages. “Seventy-seven years later, Palestinians continue to suffer from forced displacement,” the agency stated.

It further noted that since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, approximately 1.9 million people have been forced to flee their homes.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini reiterated the agency’s commitment to supporting Palestinian refugees through continued services and humanitarian assistance until a fair resolution is reached. His remarks were shared in a post on the agency’s X platform, highlighting the severe challenges refugees face, especially in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to data from the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), as of August 2023, approximately 5.9 million Palestinian refugees were registered with UNRWA.

The PCBS reported that around 2.5 million of these refugees reside in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, making up roughly 42% of the total refugee population (15% in the West Bank and 27% in Gaza).

In the broader Arab region, Jordan hosts about 40% of registered Palestinian refugees. Lebanon and Syria host approximately 8% and 10%, respectively.

In Palestine itself, about 42.2% of the population in 2017 were refugees. In the West Bank, refugees accounted for 26.3% of the population, while in Gaza, the figure reached 66.1%.

The PCBS added that nearly 2 million people have been displaced from their homes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, out of a total pre-war population of around 2.2 million.

In the West Bank, similar to the displacement events of the 1948 Nakba and the 1967 Naksa, thousands of residents have been forcibly removed from their homes due to assaults on northern camps such as Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas. These have triggered the largest waves of displacement in the West Bank in eight decades.

According to UNRWA data, more than 42,000 individuals have fled camps in the northern West Bank amid ongoing home demolitions, forced displacement, and mass arrests. The number of displaced from Jenin and surrounding areas has risen to 21,000—around 30% of the city and camp’s population. Meanwhile, most residents of Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps—estimated at around 19,000 refugees as of mid-2025—have also been displaced.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
